The Binion Family is proud to sponsor the Benny Binion’s Bucking Horse and Bull Sale in honor of Benny Binion. Hopefully the Legacy of Benny Binion will live on in Las Vegas and in the world of rodeo, as he was instrumental in bringing the National Finals Rodeo to Las Vegas in 1985. With the move came a large increase in the cowboy’s purse and fees paid to the stock contractors for bucking horses and bulls. Not only was this a boost to Benny’s cowboy friends, but a boost to Las Vegas, as the WNFR has become one of the top tickets in sports and one of Las Vegas most prestigious and lucrative two weeks of the year. The Binion Family is proud of Benny Binion’s accomplishment in promoting rodeo and Las Vegas. The Binion Family is pleased a portion of the proceeds from this sale go to the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in which Benny Binion was honored by being inducted in 1988 in the company of so many friends, heroes and rodeo greats (including Granddaughter Mindy’s husband Clint Johnson, World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider, inducted in 1992.)  Please visit the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and see the 100 years of the colorful history of rodeo and the spirit of the cowboy.
